A science graduate from Kerala who fled to her adoptive city of Bangalore for her post-graduation in English, C.K. Meena strayed into journalism and later branched out into writing fiction. She has been on the staff of Deccan Herald and is a columnist for The Hindu. 

V.R. Ferose is a senior vice president at SAP SE and the head of SAP Academy for Engineering. He is the founder of the India Inclusion Foundation, a non-profit organization that aims to bring the topic of inclusion to the forefront in India. Ferose has co-authored Gifted.
